The fifth of August, 2014 will be one of the most important days of the history of Saudi Arabian Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (SASMBS). During that day, his royal highness Prince Faisal Bin Khalid Bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud Governor of Aseer Region announced his acceptance the Honorary Presidency for SASMBS. In that day, we heard from him warm and encouraging words which motivated us as members to make our hard efforts, to play our roles, and to achieve the objectives of the society. In his talk to the president and members of the society, he reinforced the vision and mission of the society and emphasized his different supports to enable the society to attain its different objectives.
In this regard, president, members of the society introduce their warm and deep thank for his royal highness for accepting the honorary presidency and for his support.
We promise his royal highness to work as a team and do our best effort to serve Saudi community hoping that all health sectors will help us to attain the great society mission "Towards Saudi community free of obesity."
